This blog is only a few days old, but I’ve been at this photography thing for quite some time. Things have slowed down around here now that the holidays are over. So I’ve decided to go back and post about my sessions since November. I’ve met many wonderful new families lately, and I just can’t resist letting you get to know them a little bit, too.
Meet N…

This little girl has the sweetest personality and was so full of energy. Sheand I immediately hitit off, but N. wasn’t about to make my job easy. As soon as I got my camera out she was off and running.That smile never left her face though, so it wasn’t too difficult to capturelots of fun shots. Her momseemed skeptical that anything would turn out since N. never once stopped moving around. Each time I’ve met up with N. and her family since the photo shoot, her mom gets the biggest kickout ofhow N. remembers me so fondly. What an absolute doll! {You may be wondering why I’m only showing black and white photos of N. It was a special request of mom’s, and I was happy to oblige.}

Now for something completely different…maternity, and one of my first (or third). These parent-to-be have so much love for each other and for the baby that will one day be part of their lives. It was infectious. I immediately went home and announced that it was time for a third. Kidding, kidding!
The couple was up for trying some different stuff, and I only got two or threehesitant glances {ahem, see picture below with Greta the hound dog}.I surprised K, the mommy-to-be, with the cupcakes, but she was definitely willing to devour them in my presence. Can you tell we had fun?

Okay, one more. I met up with the T. family on the weekend after Thanksgiving. M, that cute toddler, was as cute as could be but tired me out. I swear he took one look at me and figured I needed a good workout after the big feast because he kept me moving the whole time. The T’shave such a beautiful family. I felt honored to be able to document this time in their lives.

Stay tuned! I’ve got more to share, probably within a day or two.
